Originally from Cork, Ireland, Eimear Varian Barry studied film making and photography, presenting and producing for one of Ireland's top radio stations. In 2009 she moved to New York with one suitcase, one contact and a great deal of ambition that served her well - soon she began production assisting on major productions like Sex and The City, Ugly Betty and Boardwalk Empire.
Barry took on an stylist assistant position at Rolling Stone Magazine and later became involved in Fashion PR, working for brands across America and then Australia.
Back in London, alongside her day job, Eimear combines her love of fashion and photography through her vlog and instagram. Mother to 18 month old Saoirse, Eimear describes her personal style as "simple, monochrome, androgynistic, sometimes structured, sometimes relaxed. Eclectic, with a touch of rock n roll." We invited this energetic and passionate mother, PR guru and fashion model to style her favourites from our Spring Summer 15 collection.
Eimear's My Shop Pyramid Style
When we were shooting, I saw the Marina London Man Repeller Jumpsuit in white and immediately fell in love. The silk material makes it a piece that I want to live in and the crisp white is perfect for Summer.
What are your top three capsule wardrobe buys?
Where are you taking a vacation this summer?
I have travelled the world, but have not explored anywhere in Britain so far. So this summer, I'll be taking a few trips to the white sands of West Wittering Beach down south.
What is the best piece of style advice you ever received?
I have always liked what Gianni Versace said - "Don’t be into trends. Don’t make fashion own you, but you decide what you are, what you want to express by the way you dress and the way you live."
